When you use the website, you trust us with your data and information. We are committed to maintaining that trust. In this sense, this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains who we are, what types of personal data we collect, for which purposes we may process this data, how we process it, with whom we may share it, such as our clients, where it may be transferred, or where you may access it, and what your rights are.
For this reason, all personal information is handled and protected with due care and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and Ireland’s Data Protection Act 2018 (Number 7 of 2018). This Policy applies whenever you access or use this website, or any services made available through it. By doing so, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. Where we rely on consent as the legal basis for processing, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
We may collect personal data provided directly by you, by third parties, or automatically, depending on the services offered. Depending on how you interact with us, the personal information we collect may vary. We may obtain data in two different ways:
1.1 If you are a client
• Registration details: We may request information such as your name, phone number, email address, and contact address so we can get in touch with you to offer our services, facilitate your interaction and navigation on the website, and provide a more efficient and faster service.
• Connection through third party services: When you connect to the website through third party services (for example, Facebook, Google, or other online platforms), we may collect the data you provide through those services, such as your name and email address. In this case, we will respect your privacy settings and request specific authorisation to collect such data.
Other information, which may not always be personal data, may be requested, but it will only be provided with the user’s consent and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Use.
In addition, unless otherwise indicated or clear from the context (such as performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or specific consent, for example when using the Services), our legal basis for processing personal data is our legitimate interest in keeping you informed and offering products and services. This is based on your prior contact with us, which allows us to presume your interest in our content and activities, as set out in this Privacy Policy.
1.2 Personal data collected automatically
• Access logs: The website automatically collects access logs, including the IP address used to access the website, as well as the date and time of access.
• Usage data: When you visit our website, we collect information related to your device type, browser, and how you use our website. This information helps us improve the website, make it easier to use, and provide the best possible service.
• Communications with the website: When you communicate with the website, we collect information about your communication, including metadata such as date, IP address, and time of the communications, as well as the content of your messages and any information you choose to provide.
• Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies and web analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This information helps us improve the website. A cookie is a file stored on your computer. These cookies may be recognised during a follow up visit to our website. You can read more in our Cookie Policy (Clause 5 of this Privacy Policy).
We use this data to: i) provide and operate our services; ii) understand how often visitors and or users access certain sections and or services of the website, enabling improvements to offer higher quality content and services; iii) estimate website audience; and iv) contact users with information about the service that may be of interest, always respecting the options chosen at the time of registration.
Your data will be kept in our database while you are our client, and you may request its deletion as the data subject. However, we may retain certain information as required to comply with applicable laws or regulations, or as necessary to meet our legitimate interests when we act as the data controller. Where we no longer have a lawful basis to continue processing your personal information, it will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with applicable laws.
We take your privacy seriously. Therefore, all data and information about you is treated as confidential, including the information you submit through our forms. Only our commercial team has access to this information, and we will use it only for the purposes described here and authorised by you, primarily to allow you to use the website properly and to improve your user experience.
2.1 Authorised uses
By reading and accepting this Policy, you expressly authorise us to use your data to:
• Enable you to access and use all website features;
• Send you service or support messages, such as alerts, notifications, and updates;
• Communicate with you about our news, updates, events, and other topics you may be interested in, whether institutional or sales related, which you may opt out of at any time;
• Analyse user traffic on our applications;
• Deliver targeted advertising based on your preferences, interests, and other collected information;
• Personalise the service to better match your preferences and interests over time;
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and security incidents;
• Verify or authenticate the information you provide, including by comparing it with data collected from other sources;
• Better understand user behaviour and build behavioural profiles;
• Use your data for any purpose you specifically authorise at the time of collection;
• Comply with legal obligations.
From time to time, we may use data for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy as new technologies and possibilities are developed. If this happens, we will update this Policy and you will be invited to read and accept it again the next time you access the website.
2.2 Access to your data
You have the right to know exactly which of your data we store on our servers at any time. To request this information, please email larissa.alstudio@gmail.com and address your request to Larissa Amorim.
2.3 Deletion of data
All collected data will be deleted from our servers when you request it by emailing larissa.alstudio@gmail.com, or when it is no longer necessary or relevant for us to provide our products and services, unless there is another reason to retain it, such as a legal retention obligation or the need to preserve it to protect the rights of the controller.
When you request deletion of your data, we will process your request promptly and complete it within a maximum of 3 business days.
2.4 Monitoring
We reserve the right to monitor the entire platform, mainly to ensure that the rules described in our Terms of Use are being followed and that there is no violation or abuse of applicable laws.
2.5 Payments and plans
No payments or pricing are processed through the website. Through the website, the user can contact our team directly via WhatsApp or choose to fill out contact forms.
When contacting us via WhatsApp, the individual may subsequently be contacted by our sales representative as part of a sales follow up process.
We apply Privacy by Design principles and restrict access to personal data at all times. This means your personal data is only accessible to authorised people within our organisation and to trusted third party service providers acting on our instructions (processors), strictly to the extent necessary to perform their duties and to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
3.1 Service providers and processors
We may share your personal data with service providers who support our website and operations, such as hosting, cloud storage, website analytics, email delivery, customer support tools, form handling, and security monitoring. These providers process personal data only under our instructions and are bound by appropriate contractual obligations, including data protection and confidentiality terms.
3.2 Advertising and analytics partners
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to measure performance and, where applicable, support marketing activities. This can involve sharing limited data with analytics and advertising partners, such as online identifiers, cookie identifiers, IP address, and device or browser information.
Where required by applicable law, we will only activate marketing cookies and similar technologies with your consent, which you can manage through our cookie banner and in our Cookie Policy. Please note that the privacy practices of third party platforms are governed by their own policies, and we recommend reviewing them when you interact with those services.
3.3 Business transfers
If we are involved in a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. Where required, we will provide appropriate notices and ensure the recipient continues to process your data in line with applicable data protection laws.
3.4 Legal obligations and enforcement
We may disclose your personal data if we are required to do so by law or in response to valid legal processes, court orders, or requests from competent public authorities. We may also disclose data where necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect the safety of users and the public.
3.5 International transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Ireland or outside the European Economic Area (EEA) if we use service providers or infrastructure located in other jurisdictions.
When we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including, where relevant:
a) an adequacy decision by the European Commission for the destination country, or
b) Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, together with additional safeguards where required.
3.6 Supervisory authority
If you are located in Ireland, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (DPC). If you are in another EEA country, you may also contact your local supervisory authority.
You may choose not to provide personal data, but please note that some information may be necessary to use certain website features. In any case, you have rights regarding your privacy and the protection of your personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
4.1 Right of access
You have the right to request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
4.2 Right to rectification
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data and completion of incomplete data. We may need to verify the accuracy of the information you provide before making changes. You can request rectification by emailing larissa.alstudio@gmail.com.
4.3 Right to erasure
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances, for example where the data is no longer necessary, or where you withdraw consent and there is no other lawful basis for processing. This right is not absolute and may be limited where we must retain data to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. To request deletion, email larissa.alstudio@gmail.com.
4.4 Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests, including profiling based on legitimate interests. If you object, we may continue processing only where we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or where processing is necessary for legal claims.
You also have the right to object at any time to processing for direct marketing purposes. If you object, we will stop processing your data for that purpose.
4.5 Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request restriction of processing in certain situations, for example:
a) if you contest the accuracy of the data, for a period enabling us to verify it
b) where processing is unlawful and you request restriction instead of deletion
c) where we no longer need the data, but you need it to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
d) where you have objected and we are verifying whether our legitimate grounds override yours
4.6 Right to data portability
Where processing is based on consent or on a contract and carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine readable format and to request that it be transmitted to another controller, where technically feasible.
4.7 Right to withdraw consent
Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to provide certain services.
4.8 Right to information about recipients
You may request information about the categories of third parties with whom we share your personal data, within the limits of this Privacy Policy, by emailing larissa.alstudio@gmail.com.
4.9 Automated decision making and profiling
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, except where permitted by law. Where applicable, you may request human intervention, express your point of view, and contest the decision.
4.10 How to exercise your rights and response times
To exercise your rights, contact us at larissa.alstudio@gmail.com. We may request information to confirm your identity to protect your data and prevent unauthorised disclosure.
We aim to respond to all valid requests without undue delay and within one month. This period may be extended by up to two additional months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. If we extend the response time, we will inform you within one month and explain why.
We will make reasonable efforts to comply with requests as quickly as possible. In some cases, a request may be refused where permitted by law, for example if we cannot verify identity, if a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or if we are required to retain certain data. If we cannot comply with your request, we will explain the reasons.
If you have any questions about these rights or how to exercise them, please contact us at larissa.alstudio@gmail.com.
Our Data Protection Officer (DPO) are Larissa Amorim and Amanda Dias da Silva Lopes, who can be contacted directly at larissa.alstudio@gmail.com.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Where possible, your information will be encrypted, provided that this does not prevent the platform from functioning properly. We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary and relevant for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, for legally required retention periods, or where needed to support our legitimate interests.
We take your privacy seriously and will do what is reasonably within our reach to protect it. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Unauthorised access may occur, especially if access credentials are shared improperly. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and must not share them with third parties. You agree to notify us immediately, through a secure channel, of any unauthorised use of your account or any unauthorised access by third parties.
We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any website that is not under our domain.
We may use cookies and IP tracking technologies to provide a better and more efficient service. The information collected may include technical data such as device type, operating system, browser type, and similar details.
IP tracking helps us understand how users interact with the website, including approximate location (at a general level), the areas visited, and links or interactions on the site. This information may be compiled to generate statistical insights, identify the most visited sections, understand what needs improvement, and evaluate the technologies being used, with the aim of improving navigation and estimating website traffic.
